Brand Next Door: Spiritual Gangster

Full disclosure: I am not, for the most part, very zen. One thing I've been working really hard to accomplish the past few years is balance. And I'm talking work/life balance, not one-foot balance.

So, on this Valentine's Day, I think it's important to take time to love yourself in the midst of loving on everyone else. I feel like I've finally gotten my relationships right and am having a great time investing in some really fulfilling bonds. I can easily spread myself too thin, though, and as a token introvert (Raz says I'm a cat and he's a dog, which is a great analogy), I need my alone time. The less free time I have, the more I have to schedule moments or hours to be and do good for me. I've done yoga since college, but I've been doing more again this past year. I've also taken up Pilates and purchased myself massage packages. Mani/pedis are my biggest luxury. I get them religiously. I'm actually due for time at the salon this weekend and can't wait to spoil myself. Happy Valentine's Day to ME.

Also, I love a clever top, so when I saw the Spiritual Gangster line at my studio, I grabbed the thermal. It's technically men's, but uni to me, and surprisingly soft and super cozy. Even Raz was into it. They have a top that says "I'M JUST HERE FOR THE SAVASANA."  If you're any level of yogi, you'll get a good chuckle out of that. The whole sentiment of being a "spiritual gangster" resonates with me. It's like the gangster gardener who was so huge last year. You're not just spiritual, you're a spiritual gangsta. Coo! Bring it!

And the best part? Spiritual Gangster is having a sale this weekend. Everything on the  site is 30% off with code MORELOVE now through Sunday. So, go on, git!

How are you treating yourself this Valentine's Day?
