32 in 2020 and The Best Books I Read Last Year
Man, what a year! I sure am glad 2020 is in the rearview, but I’m trying to stay realistic about 2021. Regardless of what happens outside of my control, I know that I am in a big time learning and expansion mode, which has certainly expanded the types of books I’m reading.
I tend to go back and forth between fiction and non-fiction, depending on what I’m pulled toward. And, as much as I try to lower my stack, it just keeps getting higher. I’m embracing that this year.
As always, you can follow what I’m reading on Instagram where I give slightly longer reviews (although, as an English major, I actively resist book reports on principle). Herewith, the 32 books I read this year, starting with my top five.
I know Amazon is easy, but if you are able, I’d encourage you to grab one of these from your local independent book store. They’re all worth keeping forever. Also, don’t sleep on the library. It’s THE best.
Here’s the full list of 32—I’d love to chat about any and all of these, so please don’t hesitate to get in my DMs about them:
